Well... I guess we start here.

I’ve been thinking about this for weeks. How do I begin? How do I want to sound to my future readers? How do I get you to hear my feelings through my words alone?
I think this is going to be harder than it looks, lol.
Why The Lux Pharmacy?
Truthfully, I loved the idea of a woman buying bags, and on her bank statements and receipts it just says The Pharmacy! haha her husband would have no idea.
Then even the thought of a blog, does anyone even care to hear this? Who is going to read this?
Maybe this is just a good way to decompress from the day to day as well, who knows. So... this is The Prescription Pad, sticking with the theme.
Then it just unfolded, who knows how often I will add to this, I hope it is enjoyed by at least one person.
Okay, so let’s start at the beginning. I’m 33 today, writing this just after getting home from work. I’m sitting with the family—well, kinda. My husband’s asleep on the couch, the kids just went to bed, and I’m typing on my phone on our farm in Talladega, Alabama.
Yes, a farm in Talladega, Alabama.
On this farm is me, Brantley. A diesel truck-driving, cattle-farming father of two, who runs a salon with his husband. And on top of that, I’m going to write a blog about bags I like, fashion, and the history of bags and fashion houses.
Who the hell am I? Ha!
I’m actually quite impressed with myself. I like that none of that makes sense together. But that’s what makes life interesting, right? It’s the unexpected combinations that create the most fascinating stories.
It all started with my mother, Stephanie. She always got Cosmo magazines every month. I had nothing else to do, so I skipped past the quizzes and stories and was amazed at the ads. These models were beautiful, yes, but the clothes, the accessories, the bags—they were like art to me. I was obsessed.
The first one I’ll never forget, and a bag I hope to add to my collection, was a Louis Vuitton.
The model? Madonna.
The bag? Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton Kalahari GM.
The shape, the resin beads—it was intriguing to me. I was enthralled.
Sounds insane, I know.
I started to want to know more. Who are these brands? What’s their history? How do they make these beautiful things?
So, I read every magazine my mother got, just for those ads. I would spend hours poring over the details, imagining the stories behind each piece. It was like a window into a world of elegance and creativity that I couldn’t get enough of.
Well, here we are today. I buy bags to resell, I scour the internet hunting for bags clients are searching for—rare, one-of-a-kind, and unique pieces. I’m constantly learning as I go. Why does this fashion house use these leathers? How is it made? Where is it from? Is the quality actually worth it, or is it all hype?
I want to share these insights with you as well. I want to take you on this journey with me, exploring the fascinating world of fashion and the stories behind these incredible creations.
I hope you’ve stuck with me through this, lol. Rambling on.
I hope you learn something and enjoy listening to what I have to say next. Be prepared, though—there will be tons of horrible punctuation and spelling. I apologize.
I can't wait to share with you items from the store, my personal collection and dream bags, I also can't wait to hear about yours as well!!
Lol.
Thanks for reading.
